Introduction
So this is the avocado crochet pattern. Yeah, it's a bit trickier than the other fruits in the series - not gonna lie about that. But honestly, if you've made it through the apple and orange patterns, this shouldn't break you.
The finished little avocado? It's ridiculously cute. I've been carrying mine around as a bag charm for weeks now, and people keep asking where I got it. Also makes a decent car accessory if you're into that sort of thing.
Worth the extra effort though. There's something satisfying about nailing the gradient from that dark green skin to the pale flesh inside.

🦵 Feet (Dark Brown)
If you want to make a plush avocado toy like Jellycat's, you can crochet two legs for it. When you're done, you can also adorn it with a cute tag.
So, about the pit… I went off-script a bit and added a couple of extra rounds. I just felt like it needed to be a little chubbier, you know? Gives it a nicer, more rounded look in my opinion.
And that little hat you see in the picture? It's a random accessory I borrowed from another project just for the photo shoot. Thought it looked cute. It’s not part of this pattern, but if you're really into it, let me know and I can dig up the details for that one too.

Hope this crochet avocado pattern helps you out. And honestly, it’s the best feeling when someone asks where you bought the little avocado hanging on your bag, and you can just casually say, “Oh, I made it.”
Would love to see how yours turns out if you feel like sharing a picture in the comments.
