Introduction
Here’s a little crochet pear pattern I’ve been working on. You can make it as a little character with arms and legs, or just leave them off for a regular pear. Kinda thinking of making a few plain ones to put in a fruit bowl on my table. The whole thing is designed for 4-ply yarn, which is easy enough to find.
Honestly, the most fun part is picking out the eyes. It completely changes the vibe of the little guy. The pattern photos give you a few ideas. Those 6mm eyes with the offset pupils give it a quirky, silly look. Then there are the 10.5mm ones with the white backs for a more cartoony feel. I'm kind of partial to the simple 4mm brown eyes, though. Gives it a more classic, subtle expression. It’s pretty cool how just changing the eyes makes it a whole different thing.
