Alright, I finally finished writing down this crochet banana pattern. I used a 4-ply yarn and a 2.0mm hook for mine.

To be honest, the first banana took some concentration, but after that, it was a breeze. I just went on autopilot and ended up making nine of them. They hook up really fast once you get the hang of it.

I played around with arranging the bunch and found they look pretty good staggered in two rows. I was thinking they'd work well as a car charm, something to hang from a bag, or just a simple keychain.

How to Read the Pattern

Round 3      (sc, inc) * 6 times

  • round
  • what stitches to do for this round, and how many times

For Round 3, repeat making (a single crochet followed by an increase) 6 times in total.

Grapes Crochet Pattern​

🍌 Body ( Make 9)

  • Round 1 ch 18, in 2nd chain from the hook 2 sl, 13 hdc, 2 sl 
  • Round 2-R7:  ch 1, FLO, 2 sl, 13 hdc, 2 sl
  • Round 8:  FLO, 2 sl, (2 hdc, hdc2tog) * 3 times, hdc, 2 sl

🌿 Banana Stem (Green)

  • Crochet 4 sc, and sl to the first stitch, then crochet 2 rounds of 4 sc

🪵 Banana End (Brown)

  • Crochet 4 sc, and sl to the first stitch

🌿 Long Banana Stem (Green)

  • Round 1 20 ch, in 2nd chain from the hook 19 sc 
  • Round 2-8 Work 19 sc in rows. 
  • Finally, fold in half and sew, also sew both ends, remember to insert wire inside.
