Introduction
So, I put together a pattern for these little crochet grapes. It's nothing too crazy, you just have to get through making 11 of the grape bits and then 3 leaves. The grapes work up fast, which is nice.
When it comes to putting it all together, I really think sewing the leaves on is the way to go. I've tried glue on other small projects, and it just doesn't feel like it'll last, you know? But hey, if you're in a rush, glue works.
Honestly, I wasn't sure what I'd even do with it at first, but I have one hanging from my tote bag now and it's kind of fun. It’s a simple little project for when you want to make something without having to think too hard.

Grapes Crochet Pattern
🍇 Grape (Make 11)
The way to crochet grapes is very simple, as each grape is made with the same stitch. You can freely mix and match colors according to your preference. Don't forget to fill them with some cotton or scrap yarn before closing them up.
- Round 1: Magic Ring 6 sc
- Round 2: 6 inc
- Round 3-5: 12 sc
- Round 6: 6 sc2tog
🍃 Leaf
- Round 1: 9 ch, in 2nd chain from the hook 7 sc, 3sc in 1st, 6 sc, ch
- Round 2: Turn, in 2nd chain from the hook 7 sc, 3sc in 1st, 6 sc, ch
- Round 3: Turn, in 2nd chain from the hook 7 sc, 3sc in 1st, 6 sc, ch
- Round 4: Turn, in 2nd chain from the hook 7 sc, sl to finish
- After sl on the third leaf, do not cut the yarn. Join with sl to the other 2 leaves. Crochet desired length in the middle position, then in 2nd chain from the hook sc until the end, for the stem.
You know, it was kind of interesting making these grapes with the gradient colors.
You're just working on one little piece after another. It's a slow, quiet process, and honestly, a bit tedious at times. You start to wonder if it's ever going to look like anything.
But then you finish the last one and put them all together, and it just clicks. It makes you realize some things just need that slow, steady effort. You can't really rush it. It's just a nice little reminder of that, I guess.
Hope this pattern helps, and I'm looking forward to seeing your finished piece.
